Minions: The Rise of Gru is an upcoming Hollywood American 3D computer-animated comedy movie produced by Illumination. It is a sequel to Minions (2015), Me film series, it will be directed again by Kyle Balda, with Brad Ableson and Jonathan del Val as co-directors, and written by Brian Lynch. The story is that minions are always in search of a tyrannical leader, this spin-off to the Despicable Me films reveals the first encounter between the minions and a young, ambitious Gru.
